So what’s working with me like & how does it work?

 
 

Here’s how - together, we’ll get your dream website launched in the least possible time, leaving you confident it’s in safe hands until you take control - and believe me you will be in total control!

 
 

1.Getting to know you

Forget about filling in lengthy questionnaires. I'm a people person. I like to talk first (if it’s geographically possible, we’ll meet up) to find out about your short and long term goals (what’s your dream?), your your ideal client and your marketing fears. Then, as soon as you come on board, we’ll dive into your business together, identify the right direction for you to take and set a date to begin the process of building your website, starting with some (fun and revealing) homework for you to do.

2. Homework

But don’t let the word ‘homework’ put you off. I'm talking some serious inspiration time - style, colour, textures, objects, fonts, people you admire, and so on. This can be a moodboard on your studio wall, a physical board, Pinterest page, really whatever floats your boat. From this I'll create an inspiration board that’ll guide us during the branding and building stage. This process delivers every time helping to keep us both on the straight and narrow. During this period, I’ll be checking in with you to make sure we're heading in the right direction.

3. Design

We book a date in the calendar, meet together in person (usually at my studio) or online and we’ll work over the initial website layout I’ve designed for you, editing it together - I’m not just doing it FOR you, we’re doing it TOGETHER. You’ll get your hands dirty at this stage, uploading images, tweaking copy and so on, so that when I hand over the website, you’ll already feel right at home with Squarespace when it comes to editing it.

4. Launch

Launch time - what all the planning has be for! I don’t just build your site, it’s perfectly optimised for SEO, secure, connected to any other online tools you use and indexed by Google. Now’s the time to tell the everyone about it! Along with a brand/style guide which has all the design elements I've created for you to use again and again in your marketing, we'll talk about how to maximise the launch of your shiny new website.

5. Training

You’ll have had live training from me during the build and at handover, and you’ll get the videos we've recorded during the process that you’ll always have access to, so that if you need a memory jog, there’ll be a bite-sized video to help you along. And if you get really stuck, you can just get in touch. The important thing is that you to love your website and you’re confident about using it and looking after it.

6. Further Support

Our relationship doesn’t end when your website's launched. I offer a range of add-on services, from updates, website refreshers and other stuff. I'm always building relationships with photographers, videographers, SEO pros, copywriters, etc. (want to be a part of the tribe?) so there’s a back up team to come to your rescue.
